Synanthedon andrenaeformis (Laspeyres, 1801)

A rare species in Belgium, only known from 3 southern provinces.

The larva bores into the stem of Viburnum lantana or Viburnum opulus.

The adults fly from mid May towards mid July. They are active during daytime.
