My research mainly focuses on cognitive writing pocesses & digital media in professional settings. In this domain I edited a few books and wrote articles in, for instance, IEEE Transactions in Professional Communication, Journal of Pragmatics, Journal of Sociolinguistics, Interacting with Computers, Computers and Composition, Tijdschrift voor Taalbeheersing (Journal of Applied Linguistcis), Reading and Writing, Business Communication Quarterly, Document Design (now Information Design Journal.
