Membership of the BSM

The society offers three different types of membership.

I. Individual Membership (IM) (18,00 Euro year)

  • for anyone working in a government or private research institution

  • free newsletter (3/year)

  • reduction on registration fee at BSM meetings

  • travel scholarships Ph.D. students and technicians

  • reduction for international journals

II. Group membership (GM)

  • same type as IM, but payed per research group with discounts

    • 5 - 9 IM: -5%

    • 10 - 19 IM: -10%

    • 20 and more: -20%

III. Corporate Membership (CM) (125,00 Euro / year)

Commercial suppliers of microscopy equipment and related supplies can join the BVM/SBM as Corporate Members.

  • Free individual membership for two employees

  • Company logo, slogan and web link on the BVM/SBM web page

  • Access to the BVM/SBM member list

  • Reduced rates for exhibitions at BVM/SBM meetings
