Confocal multiphoton imaging Facility: PhD scientist in charge.

Laboratory of Neurophysiology and Institute of Interdisciplinary Research (IRIBHM)

The Laboratory of Neurophysiology and IRIBHM of the Faculty of Medicine, Free University Brussels are seeking a (M/F) scientist with a PhD degree to run and develop their existing confocal multiphoton imaging Facility. This service centre offers high-end imaging facilities for investigators in the various fields of research pursued on the site (development, molecular pharmacology, neurosciences, cancer).
The successful candidate will hold a PhD degree and have serious insight &/or interest in fluorescence microscopy, wide field and confocal imaging, multiphoton imaging, FLIM and image analysis. Good relational and managerial skills are also essential assets.
The successful candidate will get a four year FRS-FNRS contract, with the possibility of renewal.
